Kitten Information and Availability

We have all three breeds available at odd times all through the year. The price of a kitten will vary , depending on if you come to visit and pick him up or he needs to “fly away” ( which we do quite often) . We are also happy to drive and meet in the middle if the distance is not to great. Price may also depend on if you want a show cat or you are a registered breeder. Though we are very selective about selling to breeders. So it is advisable to give us call to discuss what you may be looking for.

We try to have no more than two litters being reared at any one time ( mother nature and queens permitting!) As Tonk litters usually have between 6 and 9 kittens , too many litters would be very hard to manage. This is often where breeders leave themselves open to an out break of disease, as there is a lot of work involved in rearing, feeding ,cleaning etc. So if there is a bit of a wait for your perfect kitten, please be patient. Many of our happy owners have waited since before their new baby was even conceived.!

All kittens are home reared, and stay with us until 13 weeks of age and have been wormed twice, are house trained , and have had two vaccinations. All kittens are registered and micro-chipped, your registration papers will be sent on to you upon providing veterinary proof of de-sexing. As we, and all our local vet’s agree that (depending on the size/weight of an individual kitten) de-sexing should be done at to 6 months.

Our kittens are weighed every day until 6 weeks of age and then once a week after that , until they leave for their new homes. So all kittens come with a “ baby book” or kitten diary , that records all their vital statistics and any events that may have occurred in that litter while they were growing up here. I keep a copy of this diary , so if at any time you need to ask a question I can look it up and discuss it with you.
